Wednesday Coffee and ‘Thought For the Day’ take place this Wednesday at St James’.  Coffee is from 10am until11.30am and always bacon rolls are available. ‘Thought for the Day’ is in the Holdsworth Room at 10.30am.

The Junior Church is on today and the crèche is available in the Holdsworth Room, in the halls.

The February Edition of Housecall, the St James’ magazine, will be available next Sunday.

Heriot Watt University Chaplaincy Lecture 2012 will be held tomorrow at 6.30pm in the James Watt Centre at the Riccarton Campus.  This year’s speaking is Pro John Lennox of Oxford and his lecture will be entitled ‘Gunning for God – Why the New Athiests are missing the target’.

On Friday 2nd March it is the World Day of Prayer . There are 2 services in Portobello, the first here at St James, Rosefield 10.30am and then at Portobello Old Parish at 7.30pm.
